About the Hinterland Concert Band

OUR VISION STATEMENT:

To foster the continuation of live musical perforance

The Hinterland Concert Band has member musicians ranging from talented young students to very experienced senior members. These members regularly attend rehearsals with other musicians to extend their musical knowledge and skills to then provide music within the local community.

Their performances at local civic functions include Australia Day, ANZAC DAY and Remembrance Day ceremonies in addition to various concerts and community events.

Players of percussion, brass or wind instruments who can read music and may be considering joining the band are welcome to visit rehearsal to ascertain suitability, interest and commitment.

The Hinterland Concert Band rehearses at the Mudgeeraba Music Centre (Corner Somerset Drive and Springbrook Road) on THURSDAYS from 6.30 – 8.30 pm.

A welcome is extended to all musicians who are committed to attend rehearsals, performances and events, then make Application and pay the Membership Fee to join the HCB Association. 

HCB MEMBERSHIP – Annual Fees 2021:  (Approved 10/09/20)        

ADULT = $100 p.a.             

STUDENT = $ 50 p.a. (Under 21 on date of payment)

Fees are due on 1st January Pro Rata fees apply for those joining later in the year.
