Our musicians come from a wide variety of backgrounds. Some are practising professional musicians or highly experience ex-military musicians, others are music students and amateurs of all ages. We all gain from the experience or enthusiasm that we have to offer one another.
The Mudgeeraba Music Centre at the corner of Springbrook Rd and Somerset Dr, Mudgeeraba is our headquarters and where we rehearse. The Centre is actually the property of the Gold Coast Council but the Hinterland Community Band is the sole lease holder and as such permitted to rent the facility to other community groups seeking to develop their own music or any of the performing arts. The Hinterland Community Band performs regularly around Mudgeeraba, the Gold Coast and the Gold Coast Hinterland.
